Halloween 2013

Halloween this year was a blast. We went trick or treating at Jared's house with his sister Rachelle. At the end of the road is a ravine where some horses graze and they were right up at the fence so the kids were excited to see them. Lucy was a princess as usual (Cinderella this year) and Timmy was once again a cow. We are seriously going to use that costume til it falls apart. It is a gem! Timmy wasn't too interested in walking up to people's doors but he did want the candy. It was a bit of a conundrum :)

BYU's Art Museum Class Van Gogh to Play Dough (oct 2013)

In the spirit of Halloween, at the end of October the BYU Art Museums Toddler art class let the kids try on different costumes that represented different jobs that were displayed in an exhibit. Lucy was in heaven. Here are some cute pictures of her. We LOVE this art class and are so glad BYU offers it for free once a month! How cool is that!

Random fun pictures from Oct 2013

Lucy got a new church/christmas dress and Timmy got new church clothes from Grandma Sharon. I LOVE kids in church clothes. Especially boys. They always look so cute!

Lucy took this gem of Timmy waking up in the morning. I just think it is so cute.

Timmy is going to have to move out of that pack n play soon. Baby Aitken number 3 is on the way! His due date is April 26, 2014 :) I love these 12 week ultrasounds. The baby always looks like a cute little peanut!

This picture is here because I was going to say something silly about Jared finally contributing and doing the dishes around the house (teasing, he always helps out a lot with cleaning. I am lucky). But when i scrolled down the blog to make my comment, I realized that the picture is of ME! How embarassing! Apparently I wear Jared's clothes way more than I realize when he is at work. Also, you can thank lucy for putting her flour handprints on my bum. She thought it was SO funny.

Lucy's Birthday Fun Continues (Oct 2013)

For Lucy's birthday we went to Hee Haw farms for a pony ride, hay ride, and just some fun farm games. We had a blast! I have pictures of the pony rides somewhere. I will have to add them later. Timmy was NOT a happy camper. It was his first time riding a pony and he HATED it. He just cried and tried to jump off into my arms. Poor kid :( Lucy of course LOVED every second.

The Beginnings of Lucy's Birthday (Oct 2013)

As you can see, Lucy got a few presents in the mail for her birthday. This year Timothy got one too! I believe that is because Aunt Johanna didn't send him a birthday gift earlier and wanted to send him one. He got a Super Elmo pretend remote thingy which they both LOVED and Lucy got a Rapunzel barbie. She was in heaven! She also got a Cindarella barbie and princess dress shoes from grandma Sharon.

Jared made Lucy's birthday cake this year. Okay, I made the two cakes and put them together, but he iced the cake to look like flounder so she could have an Ariel birthday party. I will have to find more pictures of the party and the cake (we had an Ariel toy to put on it as well).

And this is just a stinkin cute picture of our kids. Lucy and Timmy at this point were finally realizing what good friends (and enemies) they could be. So cute. I love these kids.

Tour de Texas and Girls Weekend (August 2013)

This is the only evidence I have of our Tour de Texas and Girls Weekend. Those shorts are for Timmy next year . . . one of the many steals of a deal we found at Macy's in San Antonio. It is an awful picture being used as a reminder that I need to go on our computer and look through Jared's phone and find more pictures!

End of Summer 2013 (yes we are playing some serious catch up here!)

This summer we went raspberry picking at the end of the season. I think I (Meghan) enjoyed it the most. Jared was mostly stressed that Lucy and Timmy were stealing all the raspberries by eating them before we weighed our cartons. Dwight and Sherrie came with us. It was a bit chilly but a beautiful day in a beautiful area of Utah. I am more and more convinced that we should own a small farm one day :) The pictures turned out cute though and the kids had a blast. Timmy kept chasing a cat that would go under that white fence, and so he in turn tried to go under the fence, little stinker. But we have lots of fresh raspberries and Jared made lots of jam with his dad for us to eat. It is delicious :)

Here are just some cute pictures. Lucy woke up the other morning and we were playing and she said "Oh no! We forgot to pray!" and proceeded to rush over to the couch to pray.  SO CUTE!

Our kids maybe are obsessed with fruit. Timmy snuck into the kitchen and stole a pear off the table. We noticed he was very quiet and not in the toy room, and this is what we found :)
