Writing this post is very bitter-sweet for me. Jared went out to Pennsylvania in April over General Conference weekend to meet with the Air Reserve people. They told him to plan on submitting his packet in the fall and to take a test and get a few more flight hours in to give him his best shot at getting the job. So we decided that we will move out to PA after the baby is born and start our new life there!
We visited Jared's family often before we left, obviously. Lucy and Timmy had candy from Dwight and Sherrie and they just sat at the bottom of the stairs and shared. It was a precious, precious miracle :)
This is the park by our house we would walk to a lot. Lucy would always ask me for help with the fireman's pole. Well, she finally figured out how to do it herself! It was a proud mamma moment, and Lucy was so excited!

Timmy had a good nap with Hannah and EmmaLee at Dwight and Sherrie's house one day... we miss the Cooks. A lot :(
Sammy and Daddy worked really hard packing up the apartment as you can see . . . :)
Hannah did a good bit of babysitting, all the Cooks did really, while we packed up stuff without interference. It was great to have so much help. My visiting teacher even came over one day just to hold Sammy so I could actually get something done! And then her son in law came over to help Jared move stuff out to the packing boxes (we used the u-pack boxes through ABF and had a really good experience).
The kids thought our pile of packed boxes made a great mountain to climb.
We were excited to move and are happy to be in Pennsylvania, but looking through these pictures reminded me of all the wonderful people and places we left behind. We loved our apartment, our landlord Brother Stevens, our ward, Jared's family . . . there are a lot of great things about Utah. And we miss them all!
